We are a family-owned business in Mid Wales that has worked and lived in the area for generations.
Penmaenbach Caravan Park was established by Aled and his parents Richard and Menna Rees in 1973. It’s set in 13 acres of land and uniquely landscaped on different levels. We have 75 Caravans and Lodges.
Aled, his wife Shana and their two sons Richard and Huw Llŷr now run the business.
Huw Llŷr farms Penmaenbach Farm, 120 acres of which surround our two sites.
The Farm has been in a conservation scheme 1980, and we pride ourselves on the abundance of fauna and flora on the farm; with many areas fenced off to exclude stock and encourage biodiversity.
Penmaenbach is widely admired for its rich profusion of carefully cultivated hedges.
Sheep production is aimed solely at meat production from grass, with very little fertiliser or concentrate use.
Our farm dogs are Welsh sheepdogs; a breed that has been brought back from the brink of extinction.
Aled and Shana bought Penmaendyfi in May 1999. It’s a 5-acre site which is home to the old Coach House; along with 9 Caravans and 14 Chalets which are situated on an elevated position behind the main house.
